i just got off work. it's 1:30am and i had a horrific - horrific - night at benny's. but i will say this: the majority of our customers tonight had all come from this 5k race "run hit wonders" or something like that, and they were all super nice. super nice. and it reminded me of when i worked at cosi and some runners came in after the shamrock shuffle and they were super nice too.so, i don't know if it is the runner's high or what that makes runners so happy and understanding, but please, please continue to support our happy runners and don't ever do anything to put them in a bad mood. because they are really, honestly, always so nice.

why am i up so early on a sunday!?
betty, budday, it was so horrific because i was crazy ass busy. we're right downtown, so whenever there's some event that goes late or even goes, we get slammed because of it. that night there was the 5k and also something going on at the symphony (probably the symphony) so we got raped hardcore. well, on the patio anyway which was where i was working. which was also where we didn't have enough people working. i made $135 and that wasn't because i was being an awesome waitress, it was because of the sheer volume and turnover of my tables. i hate my jorb.
